PM me with any questions, i can send you pics of my install on a 2012 dodge charger, all this fit behind the grill with the trumpet You will also need a Solenoid to send air to you trumpet, not included in the kits (Wolo 804EV Electric Solenoid Valve) " you can also buy an additional 'leader' hose to increase the distance between the compressor and tank. you can also go with the wolo 800 which has a smaller tank and buy a second reserve tank to mount in a different location, again if you short on space "Replacement Air Storage Tank, 2.5 Liters (806RT). i def recommend you get an "anti-vibration pad" to mount between the compressor and your truck will def reduce almost all the vibrations, no matter which system you go with. its a 2 piece system so if your hard on space you can mount the tank and compressor separately. i buy it from amazon prime for about $187 shipped in 2 days. i found it to be the best priced and also comes with a hose to do tires. Wolo should include this with every horn they make that requires an onboard air supply.Īs for amazon itself.the price was on par with other sites I checked and shipping was fast and FREE.Hi, ive been using the WOLO sytem for the past few years no with no real issues. Not sure what it would do the other way around.Ģ) Theres no PSI rating on the solenoid.not sure what it would do at say 200 but up to 100 it seems to work just fine. I installed it that way and it works just fine. Only 2 things that puzzled me and the reasons for 4 stars.ġ)The directions tell you to put a switch in the ground wire instead of the hot wire.
I run 60psi to the solenoid with no issues. Note: Im using the Viair ASK Model 20007 with an air regulator purchased at my local farm supply store. I am running 1/4 white (not clear) poly hose 150psi rated (think fridge icemaker) that I found in plumbing section at Lowes. As with other reviews I would also recommend mounting as close to the horn as possible (seems to work faster). Intallation was easy peasy and works well.
